About studying at MAI.
These answers cover the questions prospective learners, applicants, students and sponsors commonly ask before and during training.
What is MediaAcademy International?
MediaAcademy International (MAI) is a practical learning institution focused on technology, media, digital innovation, professional development and entrepreneurship. Our training approach combines guided instruction with hands-on exercises and projects so learners can build skills they can use in real situations.
Who can study at MediaAcademy International?
MAI serves learners at different stages, including beginners, students, graduates, working professionals, entrepreneurs and people seeking practical digital or creative skills. Entry requirements may differ according to the programme selected.
What programmes and courses does MAI offer?
Our training areas include computer and digital skills, graphic design, photography and photo editing, cinematography, video editing, web development, AutoCAD, 3D animation, commercial printing, Python, cybersecurity, digital marketing, media-related skills and other professional or executive programmes offered from time to time. Visit the Courses and Training pages for currently published options.
Do I need previous computer or technical experience?
Not for every programme. Some courses are designed for beginners, while advanced or specialised programmes may require prior knowledge. The description of each programme should be reviewed before applying.
Is training practical?
Yes. Practical learning is central to MAI. Depending on the programme, learners may work through exercises, demonstrations, assignments, projects and guided use of relevant tools or software.
Applying and getting admitted.
The online admissions system helps applicants submit their information and follow the progress of an application.
How do I apply for admission?
Use the online application form on the Admissions page. Complete the required fields accurately, select the appropriate programme and submit the application. Keep any application or reference information generated by the system for future checks.
How can I check my admission status?
Use the Check Admission/Admission Status facility on the MAI website and provide the information requested by the system. Where admission has been approved and a provisional admission letter is available, you may be able to access or download it from the same workflow.
Does submitting an application guarantee admission?
No. Submission means MAI has received an application for consideration. Admission remains subject to review, programme availability, applicable requirements and final approval by the Academy.
What should I do if I made a mistake in my application?
Contact MAI as soon as possible and provide enough information to identify the application. Do not submit multiple applications simply to correct a minor error unless MAI instructs you to do so.
Are programme fees the same for every course?
No. Fees, duration, materials and other requirements may vary by programme or training offer. Always rely on the current information published or formally communicated by MAI for the programme you intend to take.
During and after training.
MAI provides digital workflows for selected student records and documents where applicable.
How do I obtain my student ID card?
Where a student ID card has been generated for your programme, use the student ID facility provided by MAI and enter the required student information. Availability depends on your enrolment status and the records held by the Academy.
How do I download or verify an MAI certificate?
Use the Certificate Download or Certificate Verification facility on the website. You will need the identifying information requested by the system. A successful verification confirms that the certificate record matches information held in the MAI system.
What if my certificate or student record cannot be found?
First confirm that the information entered is correct. If the record still cannot be located, contact MAI with your full name, programme and any available registration, admission or certificate reference so the matter can be reviewed.
Can course schedules or training arrangements change?
Yes. MAI may adjust schedules, facilitators, venues, delivery arrangements or programme dates where reasonably necessary. Affected learners will normally be informed through the contact details or communication channels available to MAI.
Does MAI provide employment after training?
MAI develops practical capability and may expose learners to career, freelance, business or professional opportunities, but completion of a programme does not by itself guarantee employment, contracts, income or business results.
Using the MAI website.
Use the website responsibly and keep information used to access your records private.
Why does MAI collect information through online forms?
Information submitted through MAI forms may be used to process applications, administer training, identify students, issue or verify documents, respond to enquiries, maintain records, communicate relevant updates and operate Academy services. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
What should I do if an online form or download is not working?
Refresh the page, confirm that all required information is correctly entered and try again using a current browser. If the problem continues, contact MAI and describe the page, action and error you encountered.
How can I contact MAI if my question is not answered here?
Please use the Contact page to send your enquiry. Provide a clear description of what you need and, for student-record matters, include the relevant reference information without sharing passwords or other sensitive credentials.
Still have a question?
Send your enquiry to MAI and our team can provide programme-specific guidance.
